I know, I am *really* excited about this too. I was at a meeting with some dementia researchers a few months ago who cautioned against being overly optimistic though, as apparently many promising Alzheimer's drugs that show good effects on biomarkers still didn't do much to slow or reverse the disease (as measured by cognition). They speculated that earlier intervention (or prevention) might be key, but of course it's hard to run a trial on younger people who *might* get dementia. But fingers crossed, this would be a big one!
